Scott Pilgrim VS the World
Summary: Scott Pilgrim, 22, dating a 17 year old Asian, Knives. When their band gets a gig, Scott's not too into it: he's cheating on Knives with a new girl, the love of his life, Ramona. Her X'es, however, don't share the love. In order to get serious with Ramona, Scott has to defeat her 7 evil X'es, including an Indian singer with demon women, a V-gan, and an O-so evil ultimate ex-boyfriend. Can he do it? Or is he just screwed?
Epic movie, that's what most people seem to conclude about this movie. I, personnally, absolutely loved it. First of all, it has an Asian for more than half the movie, AND she doesn't have a weird Chinese accent (Q Ian). And they're in Toronto, yeah, Canadians!! Plus, like Nick said on the main page, this movie portrays life as a video game, and I love the fact that they have a little description box for everyone at the beginning of the movie, sooo cool. Also, "You're still dating Knives?" "What? Where did you hear that from?" "Wallace!" A great movie.

Troy (the Movie)
Many of you probably already heard about this movie, it's called Troy, here's the IMBD. Our class watched it in English last year. It's soooo good!! Well, Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and my favorite from the three, ERIC BANA!! You can't get better than that.
It's actually very factual too. It's about the Trojan war between the Greeks and the Trojans after Paris, prince of Troy, stole Helen, the most beautiful girl in all of the lands, from Menelaus, a king of Greece. It's really moving, surprisingly, and really gives you a great introduction to the events of that time. AND THE COSTUMES!!!! Gosh, I mean, it was up for an Oscar with those beautifully done robes and dresses!
Great movie, every one's encouraged to see it, uh, mature content might not be suitable for children, viewer discretion is advices.
