Now read that, and tell me which girl won't like this book? I loved it, it was filled with love and tragedy, and it's surprisingly very accurate to the history, which I love. It was a book I couldn't put down, that's all I can say!! Five stars out of five, and recommended to any one, though mature content is included, viewer discretion is advised.
Anything that might interest you, a High-school student, or should I say in your mind, the most important person in the world.

Troy (Book by Adele Geras)
I've been meaning to write a review on this book for a while now, and it's a book that's been highly enjoyable, and every educational too. It's about two sisters in the last year of the Trojan war, which had lasted for a good part of their short lives. Xanthe, the older one, in the service of Hector's wife, Andromache, and Marpessa, the younger, in the service of Helen. Here's the scoop: Xanthe loves this wounded soldier from the battle, Alastor. Xanthe's childhood friend, Iason, loves Xanthe, and their friend, Polyxena, loves Iason. Now, Alastor's in love with the other sister, Marpessa, and eventually, Marpessa drops her shield for this handsome man. But the war is ending, and with that comes the deaths of the great warriors, Achilles, Hector, and Paris, and with their deaths comes turmoil and ultimately, the Trojan's fall from grace.
